Huguette Côté has been painting
professionally for nearly twenty years. Over this time she has become a master at capturing the essence of the Québec landscape. Her palette is bright and vibrant, expressing the feelings of excitement she feels while painting in the great outdoors.
Côté’s large and medium scale paintings are undertaken only after a series of in-depth, small-scale studies have been completed. While she is able to work spontaneously and intuitively on-site, the finished product is always carefully thought out.
Côté has exhibited her work in galleries and collections all over Ontario and Québec. Some notable collections include The City of Québec and The collection of the Honorable Lise Thibault, Lieutenant Governor of Québec.
